GLOBAL SCIENCE ACADEMY (GSA) IS CELEBRATING ITS 2O YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE HUMANITY!!!

Linkages

GSA has over the years developed linkages with a wide range of stakeholders from local to international levels to maximise impact of work it is doing in the field of HIV/AIDS. This has been possible with massive advocacy and lobbying made towards HIV/AIDS education, prevention, care and treatment.

At the local level, GSS has developed linkages with the community with which it works, CBOs, NGOs, government officials, local bodies' leadership, PLWHA, etc. Locally, GSS has appointed a 30 years experienced medical officer for giving STD Counselling and providing treatment for venereal diseases. A stronger network of doctors is also available with the organisation, which holds medical camps on regular intervals.

Linkages with NGOs extend beyond local level. GSS has helped grassroots NGOs of different States by responding to their request for IEC/BCC material on HIV/AIDS. Noteworthy among these are Bhamashah Syonarayan AIDS Control Samiti of Rajasthan, AnaRDe Foundation of Gujarat and Srishti of Madhya Pradesh

Many government and non-governmental organisations working in the field of HIV/AIDS have close linkages with GSS:
