Mission, Vission & Values

Mission:

Dedicated to achieve an overall science-oriented education and sustainable future of humankind with a national spirit. The Academy wishes to ensure widespread education and awareness on the applications of science in day to day endeavor in order to provide adequately the benefit of research to the public through information dissemination and awareness creation. The GSA is deeply dedicated to the creation of scientific temper in Indian society. Further, provide a compassionate and collaborative response to the needs of people infected, affected and at risk of HIV/AIDS & Tuberculosis through leadership in prevention, education, research, support service and advocacy. With missionary zeal, GSA takes responsibility to address key concerns of our times i.e. maternal and child health, hunger and poverty elevation, universal education, gender equality, combat HIV/AIDS, environmental sustainability and global partnership etc.

Vision:

GSA's leadership in information provision and capacity building will be a model within HIV/AIDS, for other health, social, educational and environmental issues and for other countries.

GSA will convert percept into practice pertaining health, social and environmental issues by adopting a multi-disciplinary approach.

GSA will improve the quality of life of underserved, marginalized population as well as people living with HIV/AIDS in India.

GSA will be responsive to the evolving needs of people living with HIV/AIDS, including the emerging populations affected. GSA will also be responsive to other agencies representing and serving people living with HIV/AIDS and other care providers.
